Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All students use technology in class and as much as possible paper consumption is discouraged to save resources. I struggled with how to teach my math students in this electronic world, because let’s face it “You Can’t Type Math”. We are constantly reminded that we have to control when it came to using paper. I was convinced that there was a way for math teachers to survive in the tech world without paper- there just had to be a different method.
By donating to our project, students will be provided rocketbook pages to be used for writing and solving mathematics assignment.
Students will just have to scan and send it right away to our drive and I can see their submissions. When exam time comes, they won’t have to flip through piles of crumbled up notebooks searching for the right page.
Once notes are digitized, students clean their Rocketbook page to start fresh. This enables them to use the page for every class and every subject, thus, we save resources.
