My Project
Building rockets enables students to tie together many different concepts in physical and space science as well as apply math concepts.
The equations of motion linking velocity, acceleration, distance, and time, as well as the principles of aerodynamics and simply putting together the rockets themselves, is a valuable lesson.
The last month of the year is often the hardest for students to want to keep learning. A hands-on celebration and launch event at the school will allow students to celebrate all they learn following a tough testing season with the motivation to keep learning.
