My Students
I am a Special Education Teacher that works in Science classrooms. I work with the Science department to ensure all students have access to general education classes. I work with student with all levels of abilities, and disabilities.
My goal is to help everyone to be the best that they can possibly be, and I truly believe that there is no limit on anyone's potential.
I am working closely with general educations teacher to close the achievement gap for all students who are not performing to their potential.
My Project
The Rocket Books will ensure that students have classroom activities and notes available to them at all times.
These notebooks will increase the amount of time students can be focused on what is currently happening, and not on catching up.
The Rocket Notebook is a notebook that is erasable. Each page can be photographed, and immediately uploaded to a Google Drive folder that is shared by everyone in the class. Videos, and worksheets can be uploaded as well. This is a way to have students upload group work, assignments, and have access to all accommodations or modifications that are necessary. This is also a way that parents can have access to classroom materials.
