My Project

The specific items for this project—rocks, paint supplies, markers, and sealant—will significantly enhance the learning experience for our middle school students by promoting creativity, teamwork, and emotional expression. As they engage in the process of designing and personalizing rocks for their outgoing 8th-grade peers, they will not only develop their artistic skills but also learn the value of thoughtful gestures and appreciation. This hands-on activity serves as a powerful way for students to reflect on their time at our school, fostering a sense of community and belonging as they create meaningful keepsakes that celebrate the accomplishments of their classmates.

My goals for this project are to instill a sense of pride and connection among students while encouraging them to express their feelings creatively.

By recognizing the unique contributions of each 8th grader, we aim to reinforce the idea that every student matters and has made a difference in our school community. What makes our students special is their diverse backgrounds, talents, and resilience. They embody the spirit of our school, where each individual is valued and celebrated. This project not only highlights their individuality but also strengthens the bonds between students, leaving a lasting impact as they transition to the next stage of their educational journey.
