it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My fourth-grade students are curious, love to learn, and enjoy being with each other and working together on projects.
Our learning garden is by far the classroom favorite!
As part of our science unit on ecosystems, environments, and living things, my students will plant various seeds in the garden space right outside of our classroom. As this is the beginning of a new school year, we have to replant and refresh the learning space. We will use the materials requested in this project to replenish the garden plots and plant more vegetable and flower seeds. The river rocks will be painted and used to decorate each garden plot providing each student an opportunity to put their personal stamp on their space. We will also read the Rosie Revere books requested as a way of introducing the science process that we will be doing all year long!
Thank you for helping us keep our learning garden be a space that my students and the entire school community can continue to learn from and enjoy.
