Rock 'n' Read: Unearthing Earth's Stories Through Literature

My Project
My 3rd graders are so curious about the world around them! I want to turn our reading time into amazing rock adventures. We'll read fun books about volcanoes, earthquakes, and how rocks form. Then, we'll do what we read about!
Imagine kids getting excited about rocks they can hold and study.
They'll use real science tools to look at different rocks up close. They'll grow their own crystals and even make smooth, shiny rocks from rough ones. It's like magic, but it's science!
This project will help my students become better readers and little rock scientists. They'll learn by doing, which makes the stories in our books come to life. Your help will give these eager learners the books and tools they need. You'll make our classroom a place where reading is fun and science is cool! Let's help these curious kids discover how awesome rocks and reading can be!
