My Project

My classroom library is a place that my students and I really enjoy---I read stories aloud to them, they pair up and share favorite stories, and we discuss stories regularly.

I firmly believe you are never too old for a picture book!

A mantra in my room is "When in doubt, take a book out!" so I am working to keep our library up to date, enticing, and engaging.

These new books will enhance our classroom library bringing new stories ripe for discussion and exploration of topics such as inclusion, social-emotional well-being, self-confidence, and community.
