My Students

Our classroom is a place of dynamic learning. We love to work together on projects and research to increase our learning. We love to read and write and tell our story. We work hard every day to increase our mathematical thinking and problem solving.

We are striving to be lifelong learners.

Our school is in an area of tremendous growth and mixed socio economics. I like to implement a variety of teaching strategies to address different learning styles to make sure that all of my student's needs are met. My students are motivated by the use of technology in the classroom.

My Project

I would love to introduce my students to the world of coding and robotics through the use of Ozobots. They would love the entire process of learning how they work and using them to code and create. Ozobots in our classroom will allow students can work in small groups as they investigate how coding works and learn to apply the knowledge. Ozobots will help students demonstrate their knowledge in reading, math and science. They will be able to program the Ozobots to retell stories they have read and to direct the Ozobot to answer math problems. By integrating the use of Ozobots in multiple subjects students will be better prepared for jobs of the future. Ozobots will be an additional tool to use in meeting the educational needs of students. The Ozobots use colors to code them so colored markers are needed to use them most effectively.
