Robots Need Friends Too: Help Us Get a Tablet!

My Project

Computer science and coding are no longer just the skills of the future—they're the skills of today. With technology shaping nearly every aspect of our lives, giving students an early start in understanding programming is more important than ever. This project will help me do just that by making coding both accessible and fun for my students.

Dash bots are hands-down the most requested lesson in my classroom.

Students are chomping at the bit to dive into programming challenges, create projects, and explore what these robots can do. I hear their excitement day after day, with eager voices asking, "When can we use the Dash bots?" But these highly anticipated lessons can't happen without tablets to pair with them.

By funding this project, you'll provide a Fire tablet and protective case, unlocking the potential of our Dash bots for all students from kindergarten to fifth grade. Through engaging, hands-on lessons, students will learn essential coding concepts like sequencing, loops, and conditional statements—all while having an absolute blast. The Dash bots will become an integral part of our robotics clubs, STEM classes, and computer science lessons, giving students a solid foundation in programming while building their problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Your support will allow my students to take their first steps into the world of coding, helping them discover how fun and empowering computer science can be. Together, we can inspire a new generation of programmers, thinkers, and creators! Thank you for helping bring this project to life.
