My Students
Each child in my classroom has a very special place in my heart. They have come so far as readers and writers this school year. It is a pleasure each day teaching each one of them!
I teach the best group of third graders in the best school!
When the students are in my classroom, we focus on reading and writing. We love to read and write and it shows in our daily work. I try to provide the most literate environment possible.
My Project
Robots in the classroom is a creative way to get the students in my classroom writing creatively while learning STEM standards. This project will incorporate coding, engineering, and writing all at the same time.
Robots in the classroom will engage the students in my room.
They will work in centers to build, code and write creative stories that go along with their robot creations. Students will work with the Sphero mini robot to program movements that go with stories that are written.
My students LOVE science, technology, engineering, and math. This project is going to take all those areas and integrate it with reading and writing. Students will work together collaboratively to build creations that will have creative writing stories that will come to life.
