My Students

I teach science and social studies to 6th graders in a very unique and diverse school. My curriculum allows me to introduce students to many aspects of science throughout the school year. This is also a crucial age for students to foster their interests in STEM. I also run the STEM club at my school, for students to use their skills in another outlet.

I am passionate about incorporating STEM concepts into my lesson plans in as many ways as I can.

I believe that these skills, among other things, are what my students need to compete as adults in society.

My Project

These products will help me expand my lessons to allow to student practice STEM skills. I incorporate coding and STEM into my science and social studies lessons. In addition, I also run a STEM club for Swatara, which allows students more time to learn these higher order thinking skills required in STEM fields.

These robots will help me reinforce the skills my students will need to compete in a global society filled with technology.

I would like to have these robots for students to work in a station rotation model to practice coding in a small group setting. Your donation can make this happen.
