My Students
I teach at a lower income school where the children who enjoy to learn and are happy with the opportunities that they are given. We have 200 children on my roster for 8th grade Science. The children are part of a new program that we are going try for the second time. The children get to learn through exploration. The STEM program encourages the children to learn the way they learn and that is okay to do so. Thank you. They are students are eager to learn if given the oppurtunity
My Project
The Mindstorm Education EV3 Core Set will allow the children in my classes to learn early coding by using Legos to build robots. This kit will allow the children not only to build the robot but to bring it to life and it has it do easy movement through coding. This is an introduction into allowing them to then move and maybe even enter an actual competition with robotics with kits that we buy and enter. The children will use these kite in multiple ways to improve their daily lives. These kits will be introduced to my gifted children first and then they will come up with a couple of examples of how they could use the kits.
