Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
25 students will be participating our Robotics program this fall! The theme for our learning and ultimately competition is archeology.
We have expanded our after school Robotics program from 15 students last fall to 25 students this fall, meaning we need more LEGO SPIKE Prime robotics kits, books and fossil kits!
We also want to maximize the learning and research for our innovation project with a book and hands on learning about fossils with a fossil dig experience!
Donors have been so generous with us in the past, we hope to continue that partnership in making LEGO Robotics learning rich and meaningful for our students. Our school is a Dual Language school largely made up of Hispanic students from various Spanish speaking heritage countries as well as refugees, mostly from Afghanistan. Thank you for creating access to this STEM learning through your donations!
