My Students
Our classroom is inquiry-based. We are focused on the interests of the students and guiding them in their exploration of robotics.
Our school is a progressive inquiry-based transfer high school.
Students who are dissatisfied with their current education apply to transfer to our school. We are a public school with a socioeconomically diverse range of students. All of the students in our Robotics course elect to be in the course.
My Project
Students will be divided into groups of 3-5, using the kit to build and program their own robots. Students will learn programming logic, collaboration, and system design.
We will have an end of semester goal for a robot competition or fair. Students will compete or present their robots to the majority of the school.
This donation is significant for our students.
Our students are craving a programming class; however, the interactivity of the Lego Mindstorm Kit allows students to see their programming come to life.
Programming and creativity are crucial skills to being competitive in today's job market, and donations will give our students the opportunity to explore computer programming and robotics design.
