Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are blessed to have assess to 12 Ozobot Evo Robots for our students use, however, even with the use of the marker packs that came with our robots, the robots don’t always read the codes the kids draw correctly. This can cause a lot of frustration and resistance to further interactions with the robots. I am requesting the following materials to lessen distress and to provide a more pleasant and fun coding experience for my students.
The Ozobots magnet sets will help the robots respond more accurately to the coding my students provide.
In addition, the use of the magnets will help students who get distracted easily stay more focused, assist students with fine motor difficulties, and reduce behavior issues that sometimes result when students experience frustration or failure.
