This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! With technology these days, my kids are always curious about how things work or why things happen. As a class we love to engage in hands-on projects, especially in science. We also love to embark in new adventures through rich texts and class novels. My students face many challenges, both personally and academically, yet despite these challenges they come to school everyday with a smile, ready to learn! Please help out my students by contributing today!

My Project

In today's changing world of education it is tough to keep up with the demands of technology and rigor put upon our students. Students today are expected to know much more beyond the basics of math and reading. When students graduate high school today, they enter a world set in the future - meaning, things are consistently being updated, challenged, and created within days rather than years.

Times are definitely different than when I went to school, and I would love the opportunity to provide my students with the necessary skills needed for today's world challenges.

Thus, the materials requested would greatly support me in providing a 21st century classroom with the tools needed to give my students the most success in today's educational world.
