Robotics for Technology Class and Lego Club

Help me give my students STEM Robots that will enhance their engineering and coding skills plus it helps them with their social skills.

My Project

We purchased a small variety of Robots and Legos that we use in our technology lab and for our Robotics Club. Due to the limited amount of Robots/Legos we have, only so many students could be building them at a time. The amount of students wanting to be in the Robotics Club was overwhelming. We tried to accommodate everyone but there were just not enough projects or Legos. These builds use teamwork to collaborate on a project. It strengthens their engineering and coding skills. As a Title I school, we just don't have the funds to purchase other sets.

I am blessed that Code.org saw a post of one of my 1st grade students passing her coding level and how proud we both were of her.

They were kind enough to give us some DonorChoose money so Denver and I chose which robot building sets we should get together.

We chose 4 different sets of Robotic builds that we thought all students would be interested in building. The dragon she thought the boys would like, the other 3 she felt all the students would like and the dog she chose because it was our favorite color.
