Robotics for Middle School STEM Classes

Help me give my students the opportunity to learn to program robots in a fun and exciting way. Sphero robots are great tools for middle school STEM students to learn essential programming skills.

My Project

STEM classes at the middle school level are evolving rapidly and in order to help my students prepare for futures in STEM fields, I need to give them experiences that are both engaging and challenging.

As technology continues to evolve, it is essential that we provide all of our students with hands-on experiences that foster creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

The Sphero robots offer an exciting and interactive way to engage students in STEM education.

Sphero robots are programmable, versatile, and can be used to teach a wide range of concepts, from basic programming and coding to robotics and engineering. By using Sphero, students will be able to directly apply the coding concepts they learn in class, bringing their ideas to life through real-world applications. These robots help bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills, which is critical for young learners in today’s fast-paced digital world.

My goals for this project is to use Sphero robots for engaging, hands-on programming activities for my middle school students. In addition, I hope is that this project will also spark interest in those students who typically do not choose to take a class in a STEM field.

To equip our students with the tools needed to succeed in the 21st century, I kindly request funding for the purchase of Sphero robots. The investment in these devices will not only enrich our current curriculum but also inspire the next generation of innovators.

Thank you for considering this request. Your support will make a lasting impact on our students’ education.
