This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are coming to school from low SES status households. Yet, they are here every day ready to experience new learning activities.

All of my students come to school every day eager to learn, and happy to be able to get the most of every lesson with whatever resource is at hand for us to provide to them.

They have a wide variety of learning styles and their young minds are like sponges waiting to be filled with knowledge.

My Project

I need to get to attend the Junior Botball Challenge at the Pathfinders Winter Institute.

This Professional Development will help me better prepare to address my students needs on CS and Robotics.

Being up to date on technology will result in better helping my students to succeed. When they learn CS and Robotics fundamentals like critical thinking, problem solving, and team working, among other basic skills, my students will strengthen their skills toolbox. They can transfer all of the skills that they learned into all of the other subjects throughout their educational process.
