Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our Title I school was chosen to be part of the inaugural year of VEX Go in MDCPS last year and our robotics club (1st through 3rd graders) competed in our first ever VEX Go Competition. We learned a lot from that first competition. One thing we learned was that our district provided laptop was not the best device in that setting. We are hoping to raise enough to get an iPad to help the communication between our device and our robot.
Our robotics club helps our students learn about coding, engineering and improving their problem solving skills.
It is amazing to watch these students' faces light up while identifying problems, correcting them, and executing their goal with these robots. With your help, we can continue working towards success!
