Robotic Coders

Help me give my students two updated laptops to use to program our robots for competition.

My Students

My students are 4th-8th graders from a public school on the east side of Detroit, Michigan.

We are a first year robotic team and my students are very excited about this opportunity.

We are learning together about building, programming, and competing with robots.

Both teams are working hard to build their robots for the upcoming competitions. The students want to work on their robots all day every day.

My Project

We have an after school robotic team and my students are excited about everything about robotics! I coach the elementary team (FLL) 4th and 5th grades and the middle school team (FTC). Learning how to build and code robots gives my students hands-on problem solving skills, team collaboration, programming/coding experience, reinforces basic math and science skills, and enhances creativity.

We are building are robots and missions, but we are behind in coding.

We need updated computers to code our robots for the robotic team. We have one old slow laptop for two teams (FLL and FTC). After the robotic season is over, we will continue to meet to improve our skills for next year.
