Robot Supplies for Next Level Learning

Help me give my students the materials needed to design and create a competitive robot

My Project

Each year, our team participates in the FIRST Robotics Competition. Our group of high school students works with industry mentors to design, build, wire, and program a robot weighing approximately 115lbs to play that years game.

Our students have the chance to consider competing ideas, refine designs to be successful using industry CAD tools, and build what they have designed using real world technology such as CNC machines and 3D printers.

After they have completed their robot, they get a unique chance to test their creations in competition and iterate on their designs to improve them. This important real-world skill is one that is very hard to teach in a classroom. Students involved in FIRST grow learn real world skills, grow in confidence, and develop critical thinking.

Building a robot needs a variety of supplies from motors and sensors to wires to 3D print filament to metal. It takes a team to build a robot, and it takes a village to support a team. We hope you can help us create a robot to teach and inspire our students!
