Help me give my students coding robots. These robots create a great way for students to interact with coding in a way that doesn't frighten them away.
By creating entry points for all learners this will especially help.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We were recently featured in the New York Times for having 44 percent of our students in housing crisis.
Our school has about 44 percent of students homeless at some point.
Our school is a 100% free lunch & Title I school serving new immigrants in the Bronx (NYC), New York. Our kids are amazingly motivated to achieve the American dream. Most of the parents did not finish high school.
My students are future minority engineers! Make their dreams come true. They are hard working and super motivated. Robots would really help the process.
Please help them in their quest to become future engineers.
My Project
These materials will help non-traditional students and parents get an entry way into the coding process. It will allow access for all learners in the building.
Our students don't have computers.
In addition they do not have any access to computers in their homes. Moreover, they lack computer related experiences outside the home.
The robots have lots of capabilities. These include the ability to be programmed by the children. Students will benefit by having the chance to, learn how to use code, debug, and boolean search. Please help us make computers more accessible for all of our students.
This robot is an excellent tool to also use at parent events to build buy in and capacity for parents. When they get interested in computers so do their kids!
This will make a great difference! Please make an interactive computer experience for our kids a reality.
