This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school encourages peaceful, positive, and productive behaviors. Incentives have a positive impact on a student's academic performance. They can also help to "boost" a student's confidence level and encourage hard work. Teaching a class that is not motivated or has disruptive behavior can be challenging, but positive incentives can create a motivating classroom environment.
The incentives, including these stuffed tigers, will reward students who demonstrate peaceful, positive, and productive behaviors and work hard.
They will show our children how much they are cared for.
As a teacher, I try to encourage and give intrinsic and extrinsic incentives for a job well done in the classroom.
