This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students enjoy reading and what better way to continue fostering this love? Let's add a listening center to our classroom! Our classroom does not have a listening center, and I would love for my students to have access to one. In addition, by providing my students with a listening center, they will be able to choose a story to listen to and read along.

The classroom library is the only place in my school building where my students have access to books. I would like to continue promoting better reading performance by allowing my students to engage with various literature. Literacy is so important in building phonemic awareness, vocabulary, concepts of prints and writing, and reading comprehension.
