This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from a wide variety of diverse cultural backgrounds. My students also speak a multitude of languages. My students are unique and their resilience has shined through during this unpredictable school year.

My students work so hard to read, write and learn math, social studies, and science! I have been teaching for over 9 years and I absolutely love seeing the lightbulb moment for each of my students.

My Project

I am seeking materials for my students to continue their learning at home over the summer. My goal is to provide a variety of enrichment supplies to make learning fun. The variety of art, writing, math, and science materials, will allow my students to learn in ways that will keep them engaged. Students will less likely lose what they've learned this school year.

Enrichment promotes critical thinking and problem-solving skills, improves student's ability to concentrate, and makes learning more meaningful, valuable, and rewarding. Enrichment activities are fun, which helps students to become more engaged in their learning and retain more information.
