This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Good afternoon from the STCS boys basketball program, we have a group of hard working and dedicated young men. As a roadrunner basketball player our student athletes strive to be the best they can be on and off the court.

My Project

By receiving the materials requested for this project our student athletes will benefit greatly. The use of practice uniforms will create a sense of belonging to something that is bigger than themselves which will create complete buy in to the team. Practice uniforms will also help the student athletes become more responsible and organized by bringing a clean uniform each day to class so they can participate. Although the use of practice gear may seem minuscule to many, the impact it has on our players goes far beyond the material that they are given to wear.
