My Project
My Zoology students were impacted by COVID-19 by not being able to interact doing hands-on lab experiments. This is the opportunity to get students back making observations of live animals with their peers. The River Tank Ecosystem will help engage students by seeing the life cycle of a frog from tadpole to adult frog. Also, the binoculars will allow students to identify birds and bird behavior at our bird feeders and turn that data into Project Feeder Watch for scientists at Cornell University. These projects will allow students to be scientists in and out of my classroom!
