My Project
Our bilingual classroom is filled with hardworking, thoughtful students who are learning to navigate the world in two languages. With your support, we’ll receive a class set of Esperanza Rising in both English and Spanish.
This powerful novel shares themes of resilience, hope, and cultural identity—stories that reflect many of our students’ own experiences.
By reading the book in both languages, students will strengthen their literacy, build confidence, and engage in deep discussions. This project helps ensure all students feel represented, included, and empowered through literature that honors their voices and heritage.
