it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Esperanza Rising is a beautiful and relevant book for my sixth graders. My students love engaging with content that they see themselves in. My students work hard and they are eager and excited to learn. I want each of my students to feel successful in the classroom, and in order to do this, I want to honor the different ways in which they all learn! We are a Title I School and serve free breakfast and free lunch to all students who attend so I want every student to receive a copy of this fantastic novel.
