Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
School can be overwhelming at times, especially in fourth grade when students are juggling big emotions and growing academic demands. I’m working to create a classroom that not only supports learning but also nurtures emotional well-being. This project will help me build a calming corner—a dedicated space where students can pause, regulate their emotions, and return to learning with a clearer mind and a stronger sense of self.
I’ve also included soft, cozy rugs to create warm, flexible workspaces where students can collaborate, concentrate, and feel comfortable.
