My Students

My students are imaginative and fun-loving kids. They come from low-income households and have not had much experience with the world outside their small community.

Many of my students don't have the ability to learn online.

Many depend on worksheet packets and whatever books they have at home. Despite the hardships they are facing with school being closed, they are eager learners.

My students are from an urban community that welcomes families from all over the globe. They bring a special blend of linguistic diversity, background knowledge, prior experiences and culture to our school. I have 15 Special Education students with unique and individual learning needs. Free breakfast and free lunch are available to every child in our building each day, which are now remotely served.

My students are creative, clever and very enthusiastic about learning. The majority of my students read below grade level. They would benefit from a variety of classroom resources to help increase their success in our newly established distance remote learning platform. As of March 17th, my students will be learning at home. School will be closed due to the COVID-19 virus for the rest of the year.

My Project

My students Please help me give my students learning materials for home and distance learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students are not able to leave their homes due to the quarantine. My students need a variety of books to read, math games/ math materials, reading comprehension books, hands-on learning materials, and language activities, and sensory solutions

My students need Activities to complete during the summer months.

My students need kits that contain Reading and Math Intervention materials. These kits also contain hands-on learning materials that make learning exciting! Ms. Riley
