Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My UTK students would benefit from the use of a Taxi Trike. They enjoy riding around the trike path while building their gross motor skills. The students would be able to share the taxi trike and learn to take turns being the passenger or the driver.
Outdoor play builds the student's large motor skills while at the same time learning to interact and socialize with one another.
The outdoor storage bin will help the students have a place to organize and put all the different balls they have to play with. It would be an easy cart to push and pull to their play areas.
Both these items would enhance our outdoor play time. The students would learn to take turns while learning the importance of organization and teamwork by riding together and cleaning up together.
