My Project
Students in my school enjoy fifty minutes of music once per week, and my goal is to share as many music making opportunities with them as possible! With your donations, students will be able to create unique rhythms on their brand new Djembe and hand drums!
Students need to experience music first hand and these drums will allow boys and girls in Kindergarten-Fifth grade to read and improvise rhythmic patterns as they develop their musical skills.
We will share our musical growth through public concerts and having enough instruments for all the children enrolled in each grade level is desired, especially in our Title I school community.
My students are joyful, creative and eager to grow as musicians.
