My Project
We have been using the same rug for at least 20 years. We really need to have something new, clean and sanitary to sit on as we spend at majority of our group learning on the floor and carpet.
In our class we use rhythmic drumming to help with behavior and social skills.
Drumming can be used to develop trust, release stress and teach relaxation in a safe, non verbal, shared experience. The use of rhythm sticks would be fun and more engaging them just using our hands to drum.
