This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Music and Motion is so much fun. Please help my students experience hands-on learning through musical instruments. My students enjoy our daily sing-alongs, However,they do not have access to musical instruments. My students are not age- appropriate for our districts after-school band program.
My students are kindergartners, first graders, and second graders who attend a Special Education Class for students with autism in a public school setting.
Most of my students have severe needs in communication. Despite their severe needs, they enjoy learning and trying new things at school.
My Project
With your generous donation, you will give my students the gift of a hands-on learning experience through instruments such as: drums, handbells, tambourines, etc. My students will experience teachable moments of turn taking, sharing, and cooperative learning with their peers. My students will enjoy using the musical instruments daily during our circle time sing-alongs.
