My Project
What is the best way to motivate students? REWARDS! My middle school students light up whenever I say they could choose anything from the reward box that I occasionally replenish whenever I have some money to spare. These rewards are given whenever they meet the weekly goals or did the homework that I assigned to them. It gives them so much joy and satisfaction picking the cutest pencil or toys, and the yummiest candy or snack. Not only do they get food for rewards, sometimes, they will come after school and ask for food when the snacks they got are not enough to last the whole afternoon.
This project would also allow students to take care of their hygiene as they go through puberty stage.
Girls will have access to free sanitary pads during those days and both boys and girls will have access to deodorant and facial wash whenever they need it. Thank you.
