Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are amazingly resilient students who work hard day in and day out to overcome any challengies that may stand in their way of success. Therefore, it is crucial that I make a point of recognizing my students for all of their hard work and accomplishments. My students come to class each day ready and eager to learn. I would like to recognize them for their determination so that others can see their achievements as well. Special buttons will be made for my students that they can wear when they do well in my class. The buttons will include recognitions for helping others, doing well on a test, making good choices and having integrity. A button will also be given out for their birthday as well.for their birthday as well. I know this will encourage other students to make better choices when they see their classmates wearing their buttons. The button maker will be used to create these masterpieces to show my appreciation for all of their hard work. The additional button parts will be used so that I do not reun out of the supplies needed to reward my students. Lastly, the circle cutouts will be used for backing for these homemade creations. These rewards will be a game changer in my classroom.
