This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Remember how excited we get when we receive a gift from someone? Even as adults, that joy is like no other. As students, who sometimes might not grow up in the most ideal environment, receiving a prize might be a highlight that stays with them for the rest of their lives. That is what we want to do with this project.

We want to teach and reward students who are making the effort to attend school everyday, excel in their classes and display positive behaviors in our school and their community.

We have a store where students can cash in their PBIS points, and motivate them to obtain more by continuing to show positive behaviors. These items will help stock our store and provide our students with prizes and moments they will cherish for years to come.
