My Project

In the month of November, we will be taking a walking trip to our local friendly fridge. We are asking students to bring in nonperishable items to place in the fridge before the holiday season. We hope that this experience will allow students to have a better understanding of food insecurity in our local community.

With the students having a better understanding we also hope they continue to find ways to help out any chance they get.

In this project, we are asking for books. Any student who brings in an item will receive a book in return to help celebrate their part in helping the community. Additionally, we are asking for desk chairs and noise-canceling headphones to add to our classroom. The chairs will add to our flexible seating options in the classroom and additional headphones will be available for any students struggling with noise sensitivity!
