My Project
My project includes a variety of options for students to select as rewards for positively contributing to our classroom conversations. Great thinking matters and I want to show students how valuable their voices are to our classroom learning. There are food and non-food rewards so students can select from a wider variety. I also wanted to consider students with allergies or diabetes, so there are even snacks selected with them in mind. If students need a food snack to re-energize they have that option or they are able to choose from a variety of small non-food rewards as recognition of their efforts in class. Of course, verbal feedback and props from peers are nice, but sometimes it feels nice to be recognized for going above and beyond. This project is intended to do just that.
