This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our school we believe that every step toward reading fluency should be celebrated! The "Rewarding Rockstar Readers" project aims to motivate and reward our students as they work to improve their reading skills. Students will earn rewards such as bookmarks, high-quality books, and flashlights or booklights as they reach their goals, helping them build a love for reading while reaching new milestones.

Research shows that students who read for pleasure are more likely to achieve academic success.

But for many of our students, reading doesn’t always feel accessible or rewarding. This project helps bridge that gap. With your support, we can turn reading into something joyful, celebrated, and lifelong.
