Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are truly special. They are eager, hard-working, and dedicated, but many come from low-income, Title I backgrounds. They don’t always have the same resources or opportunities as others, so it’s important for me to find ways to encourage them and make them feel valued. Even though they don’t always expect rewards, I want to show them that their good behavior and hard work do not go unnoticed.
I want them to make lasting memories just like I did when I was in school, where simple moments of recognition stayed with me for years.
By donating to this project, you'll help fill their Treasure Box with rewards, such as candy, stress balls, and play dough, that will encourage positive behavior and responsibility, helping them develop lifelong skills. This small gesture can make a big impact on my first graders by instilling a sense of pride in their actions and motivating them to continue doing their best.
