My Project
Our students love being back in school and learning in-person with their peers. They are so excited everyday to come to school to discover new and exciting things. Everyday is an adventure for our youngest learners.
At our school, we use a Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS) to promote positive behaviors in the classroom and throughout the school.
Students are recognized whenever they are exhibiting positive behaviors by being given a PBIS ticket. On Fridays, we open the PBIS Store where students can spend their tickets on selected incentives. Fun items such as slap bracelets, tattoos, and toys will help supply the store with things that the students are interested in and things they can buy with their behavior-earned tickets.
The PBIS Store initiative also helps our students with counting, adding, and subtracting as well as promoting positive and responsible behaviors.
