Rewarding Our Positive Choices

Help me give my students books to help teach them how to handle their emotions. My students are also in need of prizes for their daily behavior charts to reinforce positive and appropriate behaviors.

My Students

Our school focuses on building character and teaching the whole child. My classroom focuses on both academics and behaviors to enhance the overall learning experience for our students.

My classroom consists of elementary emotional support students who would benefit from developing appropriate coping skills to manage everyday stressors.

My students are bright, creative, and eager to learn. They thrive on structure and stability. In my classroom we focus on providing structure, consistency, and routines in order to enhance their learning and coping skills.

My Project

Developing appropriate coping skills, making positive choices, and rewarding positive behaviors are the key areas we focus on in our Emotional Support classroom. My students are learning how to cope with everyday stressors and handle themselves in an appropriate manner. With the support of this project, they will be rewarded for their hard work.

Through the funding of this project, our students will be able to learn various coping strategies and apply them on a daily basis while earning rewards that are motivating to them.

The rewards chosen for this project were all chosen by our students who would like to earn prizes for exhibiting positive and appropriate behaviors. The books that were chosen are all books that would help our students develop age-appropriate coping skills. We also need a pencil sharpener.
