My Project
In the past, we have found that giving away prizes throughout the year will motivate students who may lack intrinsic motivation. A majority of my students have struggled academically. By offering headphones, colored pencils, sketch pads, and other rewards for academic improvement, I will be encouraging my students to try their very best. I hope to build their self-confidence through verbal and intrinsic motivation.
I teach 8th grade girls who love to draw and color.
I have chosen items I know they will want to earn. They will be able to use the items when they are finished with their work.
