My Project
My students love to practice math using games! We often use dry erase boards to show our work and final solutions. During games like jeopardy, capture the flag, and guess my number, students may need reference charts to help them too. These whiteboards can easily be filled with place value charts, hundreds charts, etc. to help with game play. This helps me to make sure every child gets the supports they need to play games successfully. Unfortunately, most of my white boards have suffered lots of wear and tear after 5 years of use. Some of them have marker stains that won't come off while others have cracked plastic from the heavy use. The Expo spray will help me keep this new batch of white board sleeves for a much longer time.
By providing students with white boards, and prizes, such as squishies, pop-it erasers and stress balls, students will be highly motivated to work hard during our math games.
This fluency practice is so important!
Incentives will definitely gets more students invested in their math and will make these games more fun and beneficial to learning.
