My online learners have very specific and different challenges compared to in-person students. Staying on task and having their learning environment be conducive towards full comprehension can be very difficult! Your donation will benefit the students by giving them something to work hard to try to earn. In 6th grade Science we learn about space and phases of the moon. I think this would be an educationally fun reward that I will raffle off at the end of the year where students will have their earned points for the whole year as their tickets to win this wonderful prize!
This end of the year reward will be a great starter to get students motivated and moving forward in the right direction to meet their educational and personal goals.
Being able to reward my students when they rise to meet challenges head on, when they are not afraid to take risks, and regularly set appropriate and personal goals, is a great way to help them develop the skills they will need to survive the real world will make such a difference in building their confidence, resilience, and grit.
