This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students need engaging and effective material in order to be interested in and meet the learning goals in their educational experience. The materials (especially lessons slides) that accompany many curriculums (mine being CKLA) are often bland, over-generalized, and lack critical components to guide student learning.
I plan to use this Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to purchase engaging slide decks and lesson resources that have been thoughtfully made by other teachers that understand the visual components students require to support their success.
My school is set in a low-income community where student learning needs are high among a serious lack of resources. Any additional supports for my students will make a meaningful impact. Thank you for your consideration. I appreciate your support!
