Reuse, Reduce, Recycle: Creative Reuse with Loose Parts!

My Project

Teaching and learning in our classroom are always taught through creative and tactile approaches. As a continuation of our life sciences studies this semester, our final study will be focused on kindness to our environment through thoughtful practices such as recycling.

We have begun our own recycling station with sorted glass, plastics, and papers, and with your help, we hope to further develop this into a Loose Parts Center to ignite projects that are both STEM-based & sustainable.

The purpose of these materials is garner an understanding of recycling and our impact on planet earth. We hope to learn through literature and through hands-on projects specifically creating terrariums by recycling plastic and creating bespoke handmade paper by recycling paper in pulp & natural materials.
